Dear friends, colleagues, and ﬁg-2 supporters,
We are thrilled to announce that the ﬁg-2 publication is now printed and ready to be distributed across the globe by Black Dog Publishing in the New Year.
We thank all our artists, all contributing writers including Louisa Buck, Caroline Douglas, Gilda Williams, Catherine Wood, and Hans Ulrich Obrist, our designer Billy Kiosoglou from Brighten the Corners, all our publication supporters from Art Fund’s ArtHappens crowd funding campaign, our publication supporters Outset, Bicester Village and individual ﬁg-2 publication patrons Roland Cowan, Nicoletta Fiorucci, Giuseppe Iannaccone, Fatima Maleki and Nell Sully, without whom this publication would not have been possible. Special thanks to Candida Gertler for being a tremendous force in supporting ﬁg-2 in all its exciting endeavours and further making sure our team and ﬁg-2 artists were wonderfully catered for their openings each Monday by ﬁg-nics prepared with Egla Teixeira. Last, but not least thanks to all 60 ﬁg-2 artists, 405 contributors for making happen all 50 projects, 148 collateral events, 4 offsite commissions, and everyone who joined us on Monday evenings and all ﬁg-2 activities including 8 Art Fund Curatorial Seminars, and 3 Art Fund Curatorial Workshops.
